Florida's newest and most exciting distance festival is back. Cape Coral's Mangrove Distance Festival, presented by Rumrunner's, is a family event that has a race for all ability levels and ages. The festival is a two day event. Friday features a mini-expo and dinner that welcomes participants along with their family and friends. All events take place at Cape Harbour, a fantastic hub, featuring shopping and dining opportunities. The festival's finish line celebration includes running related booths, live music and tasty treats; with professional timing services for these certified events provided by 3D Racing. This is a fun and challenging event and we are looking forward to your participation. Races include a Marathon, Half Marathon, Mini Marathon, Kids Races, and Marathon Relay. Racing begins at 6:30 a.m. December 11, 2011 in Cape Coral Florida, and a portion of the proceeds will go to The Fallen Heroes Fund. All races start at 5848 Cape Harbour Drive, Cape Coral, FL 33914.
The course is USATF certified, and can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
